How It Works
Centered Ed makes flexible learning simple, supportive, and empowering—for both students and families.
We partner with parents to create a customized educational experience that honors each child’s unique strengths, needs, and pace of learning. Whether you’re homeschooling, exploring alternative education, or just looking for more support—Centered Ed is here to help.
Choose Your Learning Path
We support a wide range of learning options:
-
Online curriculum platforms (like Miacademy, Imagine Learning, IXL, and more)
-
Parent-led or interest-based learning
-
Hybrid schedules with occasional in-person meetups
You get to choose the academic approach that fits your child best—we help guide and support the journey.
Enroll with Support
Families can join Centered Ed in one of two ways:
-
Full Enrollment – Centered Ed is your primary learning community. You'll get priority access to our full range of services and support.
-
A La Carte Services – Already enrolled elsewhere? You can still access our mental health, OT, ADHD coaching, or parent support services separately.
We help "a la carte" families navigate other funding options like Utah Fits All and Carson Smith to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Receive & Use Your Education Funds
Fully enrolled families receive an annual allocation of funds to support their child’s learning.
These funds can be used to:
-
Sign up for in-house services with Centered Ed (mental health therapy, OT, ADHD coaching, and parent coaching)
-
Purchase third-party academic programs like Miacademy, Imagine Learning, ST Math, etc.
-
Buy educational resources such as curriculum, memberships, school supplies, manipulatives, or other approved materials.
We’ll help you understand your funding options, track expenses, and make sure your child gets the most from every dollar.
Get Whole-Child Support
Centered Ed supports more than academics. We offer:
-
One-on-one mental health counseling
-
Occupational therapy
-
ADHD coaching
-
Parent coaching and education
All delivered virtually—with occasional in-person meetups and pop-up play days to build connection.
Stay Connected
Every family gets access to:
-
A student portal to track services and engagement
-
A private parent dashboard
-
Group chats (via GroupMe) to build community
-
Regular updates, blog posts, and tips through our newsletter
We’re with you every step of the way.
