At Centered Ed, we believe that learning doesn't just happen at desks or in classrooms—it happens in dirt, in laughter, in movement, and in moments of connection. That’s why we’ve launched our Pop-Up Play Days: free, fun, low-pressure events designed to support the whole child—and their family, too.
These pop-up events are a chance for your kids to run, explore, create, and connect—while you get a glimpse of how we do things differently at Centered Ed. Whether it’s a mindfulness scavenger hunt or building “calm down jars” together, each Play Day offers a bite-sized experience rooted in our mission to bring movement, mindfulness, and meaningful education to every child.
What to Expect
Every Pop-Up Play Day is:
🌿 Simple & Impactful – Just an hour long, these sessions are packed with playful learning moments your kids will love.
🎨 Hands-On & Creative – Kids will move their bodies, use their imaginations, and go home with something they made.
🧠 Intentionally Educational – We share practical tools and strategies you can take home and use again and again.
💛 Connection-Focused – These events aren’t just for kids—parents and caregivers are part of the experience too.
Some of our upcoming themes include:
Helping Kids Name + Move Through Big Emotions
Building Inner Strength with Nature
5 Simple Mindfulness Tools to Use at Home
Connection Builders: 5 Ways to Nurture Friendship
3 Brain-Boosting Games to Play at Home
You’ll leave each event with the option to download a one-pager with real tools to keep the momentum going at home.
Why We’re Doing This
We started Pop-Up Play Days because we know that many families are looking for something different—something more connected, more creative, and more caring. If you’ve ever felt like your child was being squeezed into a system that doesn’t fit, you’re not alone. These events are our way of offering a preview of what’s possible when education is centered on kids—their rhythms, their emotions, and their natural love of learning.
